The planning process in my group was hazardous!! Yes, the first thing we did was define our objectives. We understand our "real" objective at the beginning of the activity, but it changed at the end of the activity. The objective changed from not to break the egg to simply complete the assignments. Next, we take the limited resources into consideration (current status vis-a-vis objectives), although we never thought of any strengths or weakness in our group. All we really care about is how to complete the task. So we kind of switched Step 3 and Step 4 around. We first developed a lot of plans. But every plan was crossed out because of disagreements in our group. Eventually, we just made a random plan that we think it might work. As for predicting possible scenarios, all we really thought about is what would happen when it hits the group. We never even thought that it would hit the edge of the trash can or fall outside of the can. Well... our model eventually implemented in front of the class. With a poor planing like this, it's obvious that our egg broke. It hit the edge of the can!! As for evaluations, nope, we didn't have any.
I think my group can't be any worse than this. Probably we didn't consider as group members' opinions or ideas. so one of the think we have to work on is to listen!! Also, I think my team would be better if we have the material to play around with since the beginning of the activities. I guess my team is more of a hands-on type of people. It is easier for us to know what we have in front of us then to draw some models and imagine how it would work out.
