Draw Our Communication
Drawing triangle, rectangle, and circle should be a easy job. Well... that is not the case in our management class. We were suppose to draw through verbal communication with no visual help. It was much harder than I thought. I have to say I wasn't able to complete the drawing successfully. I couldn't follow the instruction given by the person. Actually, at the second drawing of the exercise, I completely went out of patience. I didn't feel like doing it anymore. I just want to go home and forget about the the drawings. It got way too annoying to image how the pictures like while waiting for the entire class to be in the same page. I actually never thought Communicate can me that difficult or annoying. For us to understand the instruction was hard. But I believe for the instructor to describe those drawings are not easy neither. I guess it took enormous patience to explain to everyone in the class. I don't think I am able to do it if I was that instructor. One thing I lack is patience. If I can't follow as the drawer or listener, I really don't think I can give the instruction without running out of patience or scream my head out. Luckily this is a one time thing. I don't think I ever have to draw through verbal communication anymore. And I was soo glad that I never liked drawing because after that, I don't think I want to draw in the next few weeks =P

Like you I never would have thought it would be that hard to draw a couple of squares, circles etc. from someone giving directions. What I learned though is in order to communicate to people, others have to be quiet and listen. That is not something we get in that class. So regardless of what we do, something is going to get lost in the translation.
